Understanding LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care— Celebrating Identity, Supporting Healing, Honoring Your Whole Self
You deserve a space where you can show up fully as yourself and feel seen, respected, and safe. At NeuroBloom Counseling, we provide inclusive, affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming therapy for LGBTQIA+ individuals across the lifespan. We recognize that being LGBTQIA+ is not something to fix — but that moving through a world that can misunderstand, marginalize, or invalidate your identity can take a real emotional toll.
Whether you’re exploring gender or sexuality, healing from trauma, navigating depression or anxiety, building relationships, or simply learning how to live more fully in your truth, you’re welcome here. We offer support that is grounded in respect, curiosity, and compassion — free from judgment, agendas, or assumptions.
You don’t have to explain or defend who you are here — you’re already enough.
We provide care that is:
LGBTQIA+ affirming — Your identity is valid. Full stop.
Neurodiversity-affirming — Many of our clients are both queer and neurodivergent, and we honor how those identities intersect.
Trauma-aware — We recognize the harm that can come from systemic oppression, religious rejection, family conflict, and societal pressure.
Client-centered — You lead the way. Our job is to walk alongside you with warmth, skill, and respect.
Flexible and individualized — We adapt therapy to you, not the other way around.
Whether you're out, questioning, transitioning, or still figuring things out — this is a space where you don’t have to shrink or explain yourself just to feel seen.

For LGBTQIA+ Children and Families
We provide affirming, age-appropriate support for LGBTQIA+ children and their families. For many kids, gender or identity exploration begins early — and what they need most is a space to be heard and supported, not pathologized.
We offer:
Identity-affirming support for children and tweens
Help for parents and caregivers learning to support their child’s experience
Family sessions to reduce shame, build understanding, and foster connection
Support for navigating schools, social environments, and extended family
We believe kids thrive when they feel safe to be who they are — and families thrive when they’re given the tools to affirm and support that journey.
For LGBTQIA+ Adults
We offer affirming therapy for LGBTQIA+ adults of all backgrounds and life stages — whether you're newly coming out, revisiting past trauma, or seeking support from someone who gets it.
We help adults:
Heal from invalidation, erasure, or oppression
Navigate relationships and communication
Build self-acceptance, resilience, and joy
Explore gender and/or sexuality without pressure
Manage co-occurring issues like ADHD, OCD, or chronic anxiety
Feel whole, grounded, and connected to their authentic self
